FS: Near New 2.8 RSR Piston/Cylinder Set

This is a matching set of Mahle 92mm 2.8 RSR Pistons/Cylinders. They were in an engine I purchased that had less than an hour on the build. These are perfect and half the price of a new set. Feel free to call me at 817-932-5492 if you have any questions. Asking $2950 firm. If you buy a new set they will be the same as these after 10 minutes of run time.

Compression ratio epends on the heads used (rare 2.8 rsr or 2.4/2.7 heads), machine work to heads, and shims used to adjust deck height when assembling motor. I've seen compression ratios as high as 12 to 1 using smaller heads and 10:1 with actual rsr heads. Again, you can low compression ratio in 2.4/2.7 heads by having machinist create more volume by removing material in the right spots or by increasing deck height using shims.
