    Felt Fender washers and paint

Trying to confirm the following if anybody can help out. Assume that the felt washers used on the fender assembly/attaching bolts are painted with the bolts over once the fender is attached (prior to paint).? Any confirm on this would be appreciated. Thx

Yes , painted with the bolts , however the bolts and washers that hold the carpet snaps are not in place during paint and the bolt closest to the cowl is not in place when the car is painted . We are talking LWB correct ?

Also a note- the fender bolts should have a "K" stamped on the head
