This is bringing back vivid memories of my time spent scouring college libraries and the National Archives in Washington, DC.

I never want to go back to the Dewey Decimal System...and my eyes still hurt from these machines.

    Hi Tom

I have the full microfiche set like shown but no reader (yet). It would be uneconomic to ship bulky item USA to UK so didn't buy it even though price seems fair.

I'd appreciate it if you would check if there is a manufacturer and model plate ID or other info elsewhere on the reader. I can maybe find their similar generic reader model of that type locally ...presumably VW didn't actually make the readers and just got them from microfiche equipment supplier.... Doubt I'd find the neat VW logo period example like yours however

    Thanks

    S
