    Rear caliper question

This isn't a longhood question but I'm guessing some of you have a 964 or a 993. Do the rear calipers have a 3 inch bolt spacing to mount them to the car? And how thick and what size are the rotors. I can find piston sizes for these calipers but not the other information.

    Hi Chris,
No they don't, the bolt spacing is ~96mm. I have a set in the garage I am trying to adapt to the rear of my swb 912 but It is not as easy as I had hoped. They will fit over some 944 rear rotors nicely, just trying to figure out how to mount them to the trailing arm.
The piston size seems slightly larger than recommended when paired with the 48mm fronts but I'm sure an adjustable bias valve could sort that out.
Are you thinking of trying the same on your polo car?
I can take any measurements you like tomorrow.

    Regards
    Reuben
