    FS: 1973 Toolkit

    Toolkit needy,

Here is a correct circa 1973 toolkit. It would be correct for 1973 Porsche 911 AND the RS touring ((472) (don't know what the 471 option came with)) model. This kit contains the VERY hard to find reversible screwdriver, rare tie bag and, as we've come to learn the hard to find and correct Selected Steel wrenches. The kit is in very good to mint condition. One tie is almost torn thru and should be mended or replaced. Please see photos and email any questions. The kit is $3,500 OBO shipped in CONUS and $3,550 outside; PayPal users please pay all fees; U.S. checks are fine. Thanks.

If you read thru the thread sticky at the top of this forum, I think there is a consensus that for a '69 kit, the SS would not and could not be original or correct but that, again, that is IMHO and we're always open to learning. Thanks.

This is a correct kit for a later RS and 1973 Porsche 911. Thanks.

so a '73RS tool kit is the same as the tool kit for a '73T, an E and an S? or is there a difference?

Same price, even if you only have a VW or Honda and buy it for an investment. Thanks.

It is a misleading ad...there's no reason, except to get more $$$, to put RS in the 'Header' for the ad. It's a string tie tool kit for ANY later year '73 model.
