Thread: 100 L fuel sender problem.

  1. #31
Can I add my name to the list of 100 litre senders supplied by Marek that does not work. I note that the current Classic Porsche magazine features Marek's 911 with a 100l tank and sender. Hopefully his works.

Guess I'm glad I bought my 100 liter sending unit from Specialty Cars in Pennsylvania.

Well its funny I received only 1 email yes a while ago from Alex

I did some check we made 800 in total, still 72 on stock
from august 2019 until today we had 6 in for repair ONLY 2 was not working
pls check does you floater go up and down, when you turn the sendig unit upside down
if yes pls, check gauge , ground wire NOT saying it is working, but if you did check all and still not working then let me know if the floater is stock ..
well no need to explain that the fault is very simple , and we are finishing new floaters that we will send , its a very easy DIY job
so if you got a problem send me a email , show me the payment / invoice
even if you bought 5 years ago , we fix it anyway

Saskia : sorry to hear send me a email , and FYI mine is working fine thanks

Dave : looking forward for your mail, so fare nothing and dont forget pics of the repair as you promiss , and if you forgot I refunded you twice :-)

    Hi Marek.
Very happy to see you respond here.
"so if you got a problem send me a email , show me the payment / invoice

Question: does this warranty service apply to mis-manufactured SWB taillight lenses? Or does this problem fall under the " if I can see your taillight, it's in warranty" program?

    waiting since 2016.....and waiting.... and.....
Thank you in advance for responding, it's possible our next communication (if ever) may be so far in the future I won't remember.

    Hi Marek,

why would you be interested in a photo of the repair.? I thought you were a busy man seeing as you take so long to reply to peoples mails. Just to keep you happy attached is a picture of the tank now sitting proudly in my ST with a non working fuel sender supplied by you...!

If you had read my previous post i asked you to mail or PM me a return address for the sender. I did this because you have a reputation for saying you don't receive peoples emails...! This way is fool proof. By the way, are you paying for the postage both way's for this faulty sender. ? I await the return address from you.
I will update this thread to leave customer feedback to others.

    Dave
