does anyone have photos to share of the front wiring harness?

i've done several 'searches' of this forum's tech info, but can't find what i'm looking for...

does anyone have photos to share of the front wiring harness for a SWB (preferably '68) wiring harness? I would be especially interested in enough detail to show how the harness is attached to the inner fender and how it is wrapped. (mine is wrapped in electrician's tape, but it looks original.)

    thanks, in advance.

From an untouched (now restored!) late 66 MY (May66) swb
Again shows the tape wrap, and I hope you can see the routing/attachment points.

bump for additional photos from others.

the tape wrapping, rather than shrink wrap, is interesting.

It's really not electricians tape, it's 'harness' tape which isn't sticky. When you get to the end you make one wrap with sticky tape to hold the end.

Do a search for GM nonadhesive harness wrapping tape. Substantially similar to what Porsche used.

I have access to two 1968 cars and both have the plastic tube covering and not tape. Both cars are Karman built. i also have access to a 1967 911 Porsche built car. It has the wrapping tape on the harness. Moito's 911L is also Porsche built and uses the tape.

Mshaver, is your car Porsche or Karman built?

    Best regards,
