    Need Help Identifying Fan Housing

Can anyone help me with this early fan housing. It apears to have missing digits in the casting number but there are no obvious signs of them being ground off. Is this a correct number? Thanks for any help.

If the fan is 245mm diameter, it is 67 sand cast Mag, that appeared when die cast Mag fan housing weren't quite ready. G.Led

My 66 is missing the 0 in 901, I thought because of the Peugeot thing but who knows?

66S, yours is a 250mm sand cast ALU fan housing.

Thats good to know. Here is another one I have, aluminum. The machining on the middle rib stops on the sides leaving it rough cast on top unlike the one on my 66 which is machined all around.. I have some swb mag housimgs somewhere but I suspect the one in question here is aluminum by the H trademark. Didnt Mahle cast the mag parts?

i have seen several 1964 fans and early 1965 fans where they did not yet master the numbers to stick in the sandcasting. what is the diameter?
