    Extremely rare 3 bar aluminum rear lid as used by the werks team cars in 68 and 69. Originally attached with "R" hinges and rubber hold downs. Unique features including riveted construction. $15,000 plus pp fees and shipping.

    Thank you for advertising this here/w/us. Totally over-the-top bit

    Interesting that the inner panel has provision for a rear-wiper . . . but not the outer. And that the top section's been 'riveted' together

    I would be interested in knowing how many other 3 bar aluminum lids still exist. If I'm not mistaken, even one of the most significant werks cars, number 28 now appears to have a 5 bar lid.

    Sanders was able to reunite the aluminum werks three bar lid with number 28. That’s great!
