Rear bumper: What year would this fit?

    I have a '71 911 that I'm restoring. I bought a rear bumper for it,
but received this bumper which was advertised as a long wheelbase
rear bumper... which should fit my car. It doesn't. Hmmm... Can
anybody identify what year bumper this is?

as jim suggests, the small 'end-fastener' makes it look like swb (65-68). i think lwb was very different, but i'm not a lwb guy.

    looks like a nice bumper.

Thanks. It is a nice fender.... just wanted to triple-check before I put it
up on this site for sale, or Ebay. The person I purchased it form on Ebay
mis-identified it, so I just want to make sure I re-advertize it correctly.

The way I tell is the earlier bumpers have a doubled-up bracket to mount the bumper-horn (bumperette) like this one.
The bracket on the LWB has a one piece bumper-horn bracket. When you see the difference it is clear this is for earlier car.

I just was on a quest for a LWB and saw lovely SWB parts...don't worry nice LWB bumpers are out there.
