it is missing the muffler and tailpipe and some mounting hardwear but otherwise looks complete.not sure if the switch is the correct one for your heater---looks like the later one.whats the part# on it?

sometimes you can find them on ebay for really low..like 350.- thats when i buy.

some ask 1k but have a hard time selling it.
i bought a complete NOS 1018.04 for 699.- last year on ebay
an other NOS one sold for 2500.- a few month ago.
i sold#00124 combustion unit only for 1k this year to a guy restoring a `64

your unit is a early one p1018.01
    have a look here

    Moito,

with a little help from Photoshop it looks like 01285:

The exhaust pipes are being reproduced by Aase Sales and possibly Series 900 and others.

I'm afraid I have no idea what these are worth--I don't recall seeing a set sold publicly. Henk Baars at Carparc USA restores these (or has them restored)--he might have an idea of the market.

Some of the parts are very expensive (like the US$ 525.00 glow plug) so a complete unit that can be demonstrated to work is probably far more valuable than one in an unknown state.

thanks Jim in deed looks like a one.

dont think aase ever sold any of this glow plugs for that money...price went up after i bought 20 from them for +/-25usd/each or so this year.
guess they have not many in stock anymore.
those pop up on ebay from time to time since they were used on some diesel cars also.
as mentioned ...there is an other guy arround here reproducing the exhaust system.
