    SWB seat hinge inserts

Anybody else have issues with these? They are complete garbage and thought they were thinner plastic 'molded ' in the correct grey/tan?? Total waste and super expensive from Stoddards. Doing a Concour '66 911 and lost with this. Any alternative?

DO NOT BUY!! These are 'painted' grey and are too thick! the paint is peeling off easy and surprised Bruce from Stoddards acceped these as good.

Eric Linden is the man to do these...... any news Eric?

I looked for quite a while and finally found a set of seats that had original pieces.
I visited many upholstery shops in the area before finding a set.

I have the originals too but so fragile and already broken. Also when re-doing the chrome, these just crumble from age when taking apart the hinges. Original were thin, thin and flexible.
