Need help on early recaro buckets seats!!!

    Hello everyone,
I posted this thread already on Pelican but unfortuantely got no response. Hopefully you guys can help!?
A couple years ago I bought an early recaro bucket seat which was almost identical to the thumbscrew seats I have owned or seen in the past. The only difference is the reclining mechanism. My first thought was that this seat was the result of an enthusiastic handyman. A few weeks ago I got ahold of an identical seat which made me wonder. Pics attached! Rails are not shown on the pixs but the seat with the black cord carried the original silver recaro rails. The second seat (pepita or houndstooth) I bought with rails as well but these were definitely later aftermarket rails. I am really looking forward to your input rearding these seats. Have you seen these before? In which car were they used? When where they built?
    Thanks and regards,
    Stefan

PS mich würde es auch freuen, wenn Sie mein Foto aus der Markt- Annonce rausnehmen würden.

    Hi Uli,
what´s up great to her from you again!!! I am not sure about your "late 73" theorie because in late 73 (after the summer brake) at least the 74 911 models had already intigrated headrests. But who knows, maybe your are right or at least in respect of other car manufacturers! Maybe next time you could respond in English so our friends here can share your thoughts with us!
    Stay in touch dude,
    Stefan
