Question Steve's itinerary at the opening of Le Mans movie ?

    All,

As I cannot believe I would be the only one on earth to seek this information, and as this site is a mine : anyone know the precise itinerary used by Steve at the first minutes of the Le Mans movie while driving his 911S ?

I have watched the movie of course, and could not recognise any road signs giving indications but the cross road while he is arriving on the straight, and of course the Cathedral in city center.

    Any information much appreciated.

I will go there in a few weeks trying to find out.

    Cheers

    Salut Xavier,

I will try to find the precise itinerary. I would say that the part before the cathedral scene was shoot on the north of Le Mans, but it is just my feeling.

This should not be quite difficult to find:

A church, close to the river (Sarthe or Huisne?), with an iron bridge and a small waterfall.

The "moulin de Fillé" is on the left.
The church of Fillé is on the background and this is the Pont de Fillé-Guécélard (route D156) on the right.

This is the bridge that helped me to find this.

So I was wrong and he was coming from the south.
