Can't speak for the white car, but the gold car is original up to about mid 73. The blue car latch panel is correct but the piece that holds the rubber lip seal has been replaced.

The white car is an absolutely correct for a 1965 car - the Washer 'Bottle' being a plastic bag located in the trunk.

They were always like this and looking closely it appears that this car is very early '65 as it has the fixed strut top mounts which I think only lasted until around March (?)

The Nut retaining the strut inserts seem to be incorrect as they look like a 'T' Type Nyloc. The original factory fitting was a conventional Hex Nut with a Tab Washer as a locking feature.

Where are the drains on the gold car?I think the blue car was the last iteration. I think this has been covered before.

Rick, You are the olde thread guy
There was a discussion about when the drains in the front panel began.
I have no idea how one would search for that.

The Gold car is a 71T manufactured 5/71. I know because I painted it. It came to me completely untouched and original. I don't know where you got the picture because I don't remember posting it? Weird. Anyway, the replacement front panels have the drain holes but the original's do not at least up to 73 that I've been able to see. -Scott
