WTB: I am looking for a McCallister Porsche (Springfield, MO) Tag Frame

I would like to find a McCallister Porsche tag frame for my 911 that was sold there in 1973.

I have never seen one, so I am not sure they even exist?

Any assistance or leads is greatly appreciated!

Will pay top dollar or trade valuable Porsche parts.

    Thanks

    Tim

Tim, more than likely since it was only listed one year in the PDL, you'll be looking for a McCallister VW frame. Having checked the VW listings, I don't see that they even had a vw frame (don't even see them in the heavy hitters collections). Also, I'm not sure they would've made a run of Porsche specific frames the very first year that dealership was selling them.

To anyone with a similar question in the future I can confirm they were available in 73' and a few still exist. I own a pair of them. I'll upload photos if I can find them easily enough. Also there were TWO Different Mccallister families that owed the dealership. Carl "Mac" Mccallister founded it and ran it for several years, then his son's took ownership for a few years after he died, and it was then sold to the another unrelated Mccallister family who ran it for many years. Very confusing I know. So in short it was founded by Carl "MAC" Mccallister and eventually sold to Mack and Sissy Mccallister (again no relation). I am from the first family btw.
