1973 Driver's manual real or repop?

I just got this with a bunch of parts and it is my understanding that if it has a clear spiral binding it is a repop, is that correct? Does that go for all drivers manuals including 356?

    Thanks for the help,

I don't know about the binding coil but the rest looks like original. At some point they added WKD to the front of the 4644.20 which indicates a later printing.

I was also under the impression the clear binding was a re-print.

I have one that is clearly a re-print

Mine was printed in Dec 71. It has a white spiral. The cover is gold with white on the inside

I have the same manual Tom. - original as well but mine is also to a 72. I don't know if there was a difference in color for the 73 model.

this is most likely a reprint from the early 80's

    - clear binder
    - Original date in the manual
    - 29 punch holes
    - most likely to have some differance in lay-out on the inside

    1973 Drivers Manual

It was my understanding that the original Owners Manuals were different from the later reprints of the Drivers Manual.

The original spiral binding was white in 1965, too:

But, those plastic spiral bindings can be replaced. I recall someone posting a source on this forum (or maybe 356 Talk)

The Owner's Manual is for the US/Canada market, the Driver's Manual is for ROW/Europe.

Main difference between the two manuals is the section on the "T" engine for ROW/Europe is carbureted, and from what I remember the section on seat belts is different between the two versions.
