    Heat exchangers

Is the SSI stainless steel solution still king of the hill?

I came across the BB stainless solution, which looks nice....

    Any opinions?

I have a pretty original restoration of a RHD 68s that has just been painted, and am getting excited about the next phase. Here is a picture

absolutely!!!... I replaced the OEM on my '69 when they rusted through ( from new ) with stainless steel, the SS are still going strong, it's been too many years to remember when I replaced them... I would guess the SS heat exchangers have been in service for over 40 years... no reason to get anything except SS

I have purchased and installed a new set of SSIs SINCE THE DANSK ACQUISITION.

They are still works of art and fit perfectly.....I can see no difference what so ever.

Still the standard by which all others should be judged. IMHO the BBs look crude and just goofy...shiney boxes.Name: L1080110.jpg

BB solution is good if you need larger pipe sizes for a big hot rod engine. You should do SSI for your application.
