Sebb's car lists a radio type as well as antenna and loudspeaker, mine just lists antenna and loudspeaker. Would that likely mean the radio was a dealer install in my case?

Here's the Kardex for 11860141. It included a targa ski rack, Dachskihalter f. Targa and had a few trips back to the dealer.

Earlier in this thread it states that the first fixed rear window Targa was 118 50 132 -- 11/28/1967. Is this the first reported or backed up with factory sales documentation? There is a change in the Targa roll bar at: 118 50 064, 118 55 016, 118 60 061, 118 70 039, 118 80 036 and 128 70 207. The only thing that came to mind was that this change was to accommodate the new fixed rear window. According to the parts manual, this is an updated, not an additional part.
In the 1969 parts manual there are two updated different bars, one for fixed window and one for soft window. Those two are offered through the end of the soft window era and 1973 on the fixed window.
Now, I realize that the parts manuals don't always get things correct, but could the above change be related to installing the first fixed rear windows?
The listing for the first car with the fixed window is the earliest car known, based on the completion date, where the Kardex or Porsche certificate (COA, etc.) lists the optional fixed window. It is more accurately an indication that the first fixed window car was completed no later than 28 November 1967. There may be earlier cars with fixed windows that haven't yet been documented.
I don't know of any changes to the roll bar necessitated by the fixed window, but you might find otherwise. The inner roll bar padding has the handle cut outs for the soft windows and these are not present in the part for the fixed window. I would have thought that this would be an additional part rather than an updated part.

This is from the Kardex records for first use of Targa fixed windows. The first number is the chassis number listed above, which is the last chassis number in the parts manual before the second type of structural roll bar (not roll bar cover) was introduced. All of these are the first Kardexes in each series that state fixed window. Unless someone tells me otherwise all 1968 fixed window Targas have vertical heating element wires imbedded in the glass and the glass is "green" not clear. The date listed is the invoice date on the Kardex.
118 50 064 -- 118 50 065 -- 10/11/67
118 55 016 -- 118 55 016 -- 10/24/67 -- yes, that is the same number, see parts manual comment above
118 60 061 -- 118 60 062 -- 10/18/67
118 70 039 -- 118 70 040 -- 10/16/67
118 80 036 -- 118 80 037 -- 10/13/67
912
128 70 207 -- 128 70 217 -- 10/17/67
I do not know the actual difference in that part -- 901.565.001.40 (early) / 901.565.001.41 (late), but I think it is pretty conclusive that this is when the fixed window option was first offered and something had to have been changed to make them fit. I welcome anyone with superior information to chime in.
I vote for replacement glass. Only the green one with heating elements is listed in your 912 parts manual -- I am taking good care of it!!!!
Of course, there is always the possibility that the green one with the imbedded wires became a warranty problem early on, leading to the painted on horizontal ones that appeared in 1969 -- with a stop-gap non-heated one in between.

Not sure if this is relavent. Hard to tint a plastic window but possible I suppose. Sorry no Kardex
Both heated and non-heated windows are listed as 1968 options for Targas -- there is no part number for the non-heated one in the parts manual.
