    7R wheel value

What I thought were deep 6's on my 912 turned out to be 7R's, any idea what a single wheel or pair of wheels in the following shape might be worth, don't remember the dates, may be a matched pair and a single third wheel, may be 3 different dates.

It has become so commonplace for buyers/owners of cars/parts to believe that they've discovered lost gold and buried treasure that when it actually happens it's exciting. (It is truly getting old that so many WANT to believe that they have something extraordinary, rare, or that they've found a long lost prototype.)

Let me be the first to congratulate you on your good fortune!

I'm sure by now your inbox is full of requests to purchase so you should have a pretty good idea on value. Good luck with selling.

Polished wheels are always a tough call. Many have used..(and still do) polishing to hide repairs.
IF the 7Rs pass a weld/crack/true test they would be worth about 4500-5000 a pair give or take. Less than unrestored/original...
A single may be worth more or less depending on how much (and the date) a persons need one to match.

The polish was done back in the early (awful) eighties... They are in really nice condition. There were 5 on the car, one will be for sale for sure, no need for a 7 spare, the others may get split to the rear of a car or two, unless I find a set of sport seats, that could change priorities.

So you have one for sale? Or more?
Have you owned them since the 80s?
    Why split them up now?

They aren't a matched set, 4 or 5 different dates. They've been on the car since the late 70's or early 80's, and they rub a little on the front (SWB) even with spacers. These are the wheels I told you about when I called last week to talk about the 5.5's you are doing for me (for the car these came off), I thought they were odd 6's, with no numbers. I'll give you a call this week.
