    Question on mounting Hella 139's

I've done a lot of searches and can't seem to find an answer. If using the correct 139 for a LWB car, it has a single post and nut with a square bracket on the back. The mounting bracket that is part of the bumper has two holes drilled towards the bottom of the bracket. To mount the 139, wouldn't there need to be a single center hole in the bumper bracket? If this is the case, I want to drill it before the car heads to paint. Seems strange that the correct hole wasn't in place from the factory? Any info or photos, that can be provided would be appreciated..Thanks Steve

I also would like to see some pictures of the fog light mounted to the bumper, I am getting ready to mount my fog lights also.

I just had mine mounted on my '71 Targa and it has the same 2 side by side holes like in the picture below. My early Porsche guy who worked on these cars when they were new mounted my 139's on the outside holes on both sides, my guess is the other holes were for different size fog lights. So your brackets are fine just as they are.

Here is a picture of mine mounted on my car using the outside holes on both sides.

Gorgeous car! Thanks for the info. Seems strange that the hole is not centrally located, but your location does seem to fit the bill. I'll do a test mount. The wire grommet on the fog light body exits the top or bottom when mounted? Thanks again for your help...Steve
