    Air cleaner console question

    Any idea what the spot welds would indicate on the back of this air cleaner looks pretty peculiar?

    How about a shot from the inside?



    Looks like you have an obsession for weird air filters.

    Is that one on the floor a 3.2 housing with the side cut out of it?

    No obsession that's just the way I found it I don't imagine it can be remediated but possibly

    I'm going to take a stab:

    Engine had some pretty bad blow-by when Mr. R. Goldberg owned it. He decided to drill vent holes to diminish the amount of oil going into the engine. While fixing said holes the next owner ran out of filler/peanut butter and plugged the remaining holes with 6mm screws.
