Thread: SWB left lower rear quarter window trim

SWB left lower rear quarter window trim

Early style that uses pegs instead of screws. Correct for '65 - '67 I believe. The chrome is in very nice shape. No pitting or corrosion but it does have a wear mark from where the quarter window sits on it. Asking $85.00 shipped.

I`m thinking the screws were first, then the pegs...........you know, cheaper as we go......cliff
Also, the ones with screws were brass, early, pegs were aluminum.....

My 71 has screws and it's light so it's definitely aluminum whereas this one is thick, heavy & chrome plated I beleive. Also, PET shows speed nuts are used thru 1967

I've lost count of how many rusted SWB cars that I've cut up and taken to the scrap yard in the past.
Up to 68, trim was brass with pegs. 68 up, aluminum with screws. R/Dave
