    65 911 Matching Engine (Solex) and Gearbox

    Hi to all
    I have a 1965 911 2.0 engine and gearbox for sale originally from chassis 300810. Any inspection is welcome but will have to be done in Johannesburg, South Africa. Around 100 images available taken during rebuild. The price is Euro 80 000 or around USD 90000.

    Number 900981
    Type 901/01 Build number 881
    Completely rebuild by factory trained mechanic currently and in contact with me.
    Completely original except for very minor details
    • 66 onwards flywheel
    • Normal rockers from later car (mechanic told me)
    • One of the air cleaner clamp are not original (mechanic showed me)
    • Exhaust not correct 65 version
    • I will look into the original chassis number for the engine but here is details so far. As far as owner think they came from same car.

    Number 100791
    Type 901/0
    Date stamp 64
    Gearbox completely rebuild by same factory trained mechanic.
    According to memory matching number box for engine above.
    Come with correct drive shafts

    Wonderful combination. Does the registry have any idea where chassis 300810 resides?
