    interior restoration Europe

Has anyone got experience with Cartex in Bonn, Germany for interior restoration, I visited him this weekend and he seems very knowledgeable. Just was looking for some first hand experience.

Yes I had him do two sport seats for me. A porsche parts dealer/ shop nearby has all his interiors done by him.
He's good and knowledgeable - he'd be number 3 on my list, but there are better ones (but also with a longer queue/backlog). (PM me and I'll guide you where to go)
The replacement foam for sport seats he sells is way too hard - makes the seats unusable.

    Cheers

    Hi there,

    Try Cabriopartner in Leersum.
Last summer my interior got redone by them..

    1) installed my Nosgruppe correct headliner
    2) installed my Sigla etched front windshield
    3) installed correct velours carpet
    4) got my seat internals redone completely

I specificly pointed out to them that they had to ' pad' the base seat upholstery. Just as it shows in orginal Porsche factory pictures. That's a point which is often overlooked on a seat restoration.....

Anyway, they are not cheap, but I was very pleased with the results !

Btw. They do all interior/ conv.tops for Porsche centrum Gelderland....

    Regards,

    Bert
