    shroud dilema,

as my restoration is progressing well, I am looking for the items I still need

I will need to do something with my shrouds

I have the original , it has a few frayed edges but noting big , but it has some discoloration, a big white blotch in the middle

question , do I install the original as is ?

can the original be dyed ?

if not dyeable, there are a few repro out there

the price vary from single to double

there is the series 900 one which has very positive review but its 300$, but definitely a superior product

then there is QSR , its 180$, but not found his name mentioned positively or negatively either

I want the right fit , but I don't mind fiddling to make it fit as long as it is functional and looks as original

    other option ?

Some pics would be nice, but I would have tried Chuck´s dying method before considering replacing an original shroud: http://ww.early911sregistry.org/foru...g-The-Red-Back

Damon's series 900 shrouds are very nice and mine fit perfect out of the box. Money well spent IMO
