    911 RSR Parts

    Hi,
    I'm searching for a Pressure Relief Valve (Preschona Valve) which is mounted on the oil cooler. This was mounted on the RSR and the 914/6. It doesn't have to be an original one but it has to work. I also look for high butterflies for a 3.0l Engine. I'm building a 911 2.8 RSR prototype based on a 911E-73.

    Hi Peter,

    We have the pressure relief valve, 2.8 high butterfly, 3.0 slide valve intakes, amber tin/ shrouds and many other reproduction FIA level parts.

    Hello Peter, just for clarification...

    What some (including myself) refer to as the "Preschona" Oil Pressure Relief Valve is the earlier valve manufactured by "Preschona", hence the name. The photo posted above is the 'later' valve which I believe was first introduced with the 73' RSR. The 914-6 GT race cars used the earlier Preschona valve, which by the way, it's 'adjustable'. Not so the RSR oil pressure relief valve (flat-top, nothing to adjust). Both valves are directly connected to a 'racing version' large opening oil filler neck and not 'on the oil cooler'. The valves are rather used in the lubrication circuit to protect an oil cooler.
