Are the 73 Carrera RS touring has lightweight front fender or the normal ones?

There is only one, just the RSL's had no bumper trim. French delivery had the steel S bumper.

Didn't the first 500 have thinner steel stamping?

Oeps, I thought I read front spoiler....Anyway, what I know its that all Tourings had normal thickness steel fenders, i.e. 0.88mm.

At this place the sheet is much thinner and as i can remember, on the flares it is still somethings around 0.75mm.
absolutly clearly are this fender much weeker and a bit lighter then the fenders on my 72er...

I thought all the first 500 had the same thin metal and glass bits. They went out to get weighed in RSH configuration, then came back to the factory and were converted per that car's order to RS or RSL (and a few stayed as RSH). I didn't think the conversion to the RSL touring version included changing the fenders; they would still be thin.
