    Snail Horn Restoration Source?

The snail horns for my '70E project are pretty ratty and do not work. Is there a source for restoration of these?

    Tom,
I just did mine myself. They really were not to difficult, just a bit of cleaning and painting on the outside housings. The interior is a bit delicate, but what I found in mine was that the points were more or less just stuck. I cleaned every thing up in there, lubricated where needed, carefully sanded the points, and they beeped perfectly when tested with my battery.

You can do it. Total do it your self project. Mine sounded like two wounded hyaenas.
After disassembly, cleaning and reassemble they sounded absolutely brand spanking new.

Great rainy day, or snow day project, as they're compact enough to do at the kitchen table. Wife didn't like the horn beeping in the house, but oh well.
