    Correct engine grill for '70T?

Is the correct engine lid grille black or silver for a 1970 911T?
    Thanks.

Why is it that every 1970 911T on EBay looks like it's engine
    deck grille looks black?

    then they are all wrong.

It should look like this. 2.2T, 2.2E and 2.2S are all similar.
In fact, the 5 top side matt black crossbars make that from a distance, only the 13 silver horizontal bars are visually noticable. The mesh grill underneath is matt black too (but anodized, not painted).

Thanks. Is there any source that provides
detailed photos of each year 1965-1973 and each model?
The Peter Morgen book does not do it. BTW, I have
bought two early 911s off EBay and had good
    luck each time(1969 911S and just recently 1970 911T)

This is an original 70T grille. The mesh is black and very faded as they do. You can see the 5 bars.
Grilles are usually broken down to (1)Very early high rib bolt together (2) Split deck to mid 68 bolt together (3) Three bar, mid 68-69 bright ano (4) 70-71 Five bar bright ano (5) 72-73 Five bar black ano. I have heard of some overlap in early 70...and 72 but I have no seen it verified. I can get photos of all of them if you need.

So the 5 bar below is not correct for a 70T (because bars are silver)?

Mesh should be silver as well or black? (this mesh was once silver and is just tarnished).

For grille resale purposes, anyone know what i do have here? OEM from another year or repop?

    Thanks.
