    title should read SELECTED STEEL.

    I don't believe this is a case of "... one day it was like this and the next day it was like that...". a friend is the original owner of a '69. his kit came with these wrenches. I have heard (offline) from the second owner of a '69 that his kit has these. a party here seems to think that there is a "consensus" about these wrenches. (a notion to which I do not subscribe) my best guess is that these were used on a temporary basis when the DFS or SSS wrenches were not available.
    so, basically, any time during the LWB run.
