    How to remove the fastener

    Hello
    Please tell me how to remove the fastener of the Repa seat belt of photos.

    What does the other end look like? It may be a rivet that will need to have the head ground off to remove.

    Don't do it Kyotchi... You don't need to remove that to replace the webbing if that's what you are trying to do. If they are not retracting properly, you can always buy these..

    As mentioned, be careful. I made the mistake of removing the screw and spent hours to figure out how to replace the spring while cussing at myself the whole time. To re web you pull it out all the way.

    Thin tipped pliers will get them out, you will probably damage the cover a little because the grip is not very strong. The phillips head screws do not seems to be original. Good luck,

    Naba--- Those look like security or anti-tampering screws. The head of the screw is oval-you might show the part to a technician, electrical or mechanical, that works with sensitive equipment. I have seen these screw/bolt heads (oval) used in public washroom door hinges and elect. equipment boxes on city buses and elsewhere.
