Pics of your 911 on Route 66

I've been on Route 66 a few times but never in my 911 - or any of my 911s or Porsches. So, since it's winter, I'd to live vicariously through your trips and photographs thereof.

Bonus points if you post a photo of you and your Early S blowing the doors off of Todd & Buzz's car in front of some iconic diner...

I have a home in Flagstaff and I have driven a 911 or two on route 66 but unfortunately have no photographic proof - so it never happened.

I'll take a few pictures tomorrow in Old Towne Victorville. The Route 66 museum is here. National Trails Hwy, old Route 66, passes through Victorville, along the dry Mojave River, to Barstow then connects to Int 40, across the desert to the Colorado River, through Arizona all the way to Chicago. Route 66 runs parallel to Int 40 through the Mojave Desert. It disappears and reappears but it follows the route and the Rail Road.

I grew up out there Bob. Miss the Mojave Desert. Looking forward to your pics. Can you get one in front of my favorite old Schwinn Shop?

Great shots, Bob, I am sorry to have missed that run organized by Duane Hyatt. I miss having coffee with him at Starbucks.
