    Restoring a Blaupunkt Radio

I have a Blaupunkt from the 60s that needs restoration, can someone recommend a good place to send it out for restoration?

    Thanks

About 18 months ago I undertook the same task, to repair my original Blaupunkt Frankfurt Radio from my '68 911L. Overwhelmingly I was referred to one guy - Wilford “Willie” Wilkes Sr. of the Vintage Radio Shop. Willie was "mostly" retired at the time, but he restored my radio and was an absolute howl to speak to (an incredible knowledge store of all things old Blaupunkts...). I'm not sure if he's still working, but here is his contact detail:

    • 170 Opossum Alley
    • PO Box 103
    • Brisbin, PA 16620
    • (814) 378-8526

I hope you get a chance to work with him, he's a terrific guy. Good luck, and enjoy the restoration.!
