Help with identifying handwriting in my Cardex

    Hi!
I would appreciate some help with identifying the handwriting in my Cardex.

    The first owner was:
Dr. Kurt Tomek, 675 Kaiserslautern, Schneiderstraße 3 in Germany

    But the second owner was:
    Heinz Keller in ?????????Karlsbey???Karlsbeg???Karlsberg

I really googled a lot but I can not find such City in Germany. Perhaps a City in USA?

    Any help is appreciated...

    Thanks a lot
    Christian

I'd say Karlsberg judging by the 'r' in 'Keller'.

There is a 'Carlsberg' close to Kaiserslautern aka K-town in Germany.

Looks like Karlsberg to me. If a second name is on the Kardex, I believe that means the first owner only had it for a short time. Makes more sense to sell a used car locally at that time instead of exporting it to the US. Found this with a quick search. Not far from Kaiserslautern. If there is more handwriting below the small part you have attached, I would post that also. Might be more clues.

@Rådmund: two towns to choose from now

I was thinking of Carlsberg east of Kaiserslautern. Would not be uncommon to misspell it as 'Karlsberg'.

It seems your car was serviced by Rittersbacher until the end of 1969. That pretty much confirms the second owner was also German. If a second owner is added to a kardex, the vehicle must have still been under warranty when Dr. Tomek sold it. HC/ others please comment.

Fully agree, Rådmund. There were lots of US mil installation in the Kaiserslautern area, and still are some today. In the 60ies through 80ies, lots of US service members stationed in Germany bought Porsches and other European cars to enjoy on the Autobahn during their tour and then shipped the cars back home free of charge when they got new orders to relocate CONUS.

In recommended to the OP to use the German online phone book and search for the name Keller in Karlsberg/Carlsberg. These are small towns, everyone knows everyone and he might get lucky...

...there ist a Porsche car dealer in Kaiserslautern, called Rittersbacher:
    http://www.rittersbacher-kaiserslautern.de
Contact them and perhaps they can support you concerning their customer Heinz Keller in 1967
(a quick research from me for "Heinz Keller in Karlsberg" in online phone books unfortunately did not yield any results)
