    Chrome Targa Ski Rack ('67 –) | $850

    Hi All,

    I'm selling a nice chrome TARGA-specific ski rack (Part Nş 901.801.013.40)
    Mounts to the A-pillars & the targa bar. (see pics).

    It definitely fit my '68 912 SWT, but I'm not certain it'll fit LWB & G models.
    Have noticed, though, that even '88s still have the same 2 screws/plugs in the targa bar.

    It's in very nice shape, with only a couple issues –

    • The targa-bar rack won't come apart. I'm assuming the two pieces are rusted in place, but it's at the correct mounting width, and the external chrome shows beautifully.
    • The clamp on the targa-bar is oxidized (rusted) and the screw won't turn. Will hit it with some Kano Kroil penetrating oil to see if it'll break free). Right now, it's free-floating on the bar.
    • I have 3 of the 4 original grey rubber A-piller pads, but they're pretty far gone.
    • Very slight pitting to the chrome, but it polished out nicely.

    The 4 plastic pads are clean & white. I replaced the straps (there were only 4, and really far-gone) with fresh ones from Woody's Custom Shop ($90).
    They're a bit thicker and much nicer than the originals.
