    71 T Targa Fuel Strainer

Redoing the entire fuel system on a 71 T Targa, I pulled the strainer out of the tank (looks original.?) and its a 10mm (E.S models), instead of the small diameter (911 and 912) that is called for. Question is, could the 10mm be the original, stock size for a 71T.? Any help appreciated.

Yes, that is the right size, the suction hose size is 9.5 mm I.D.

Thanks very much Ed, you ever get that rear interior molding (that goes around the rear upholstered deck, and butts up against the glass) from oversee's.? If yes, did it fit.? Thx again Ed

I did, but it wasn't from overseas, rather from Autobahn, and yes it fit satisfactorily for both mine and the customer's taste.

As I recall they sent us an entire interior package ready to install, and that rear panel was upholstered and ready to install. So, no core needed.
