No sound from radio in 73S

When I originally connected electrical to the car a couple years ago, the stock radio worked OK. It now will light up but there is zero sound. I tried the stock speaker and an aftermarket. Any ideas to test or just pack it up and send off to fix?

    Thanks,

Sounds like you did test it with multiple speakers. In that case, it is pack it up and send off to fix. I have used http://www.radiomanrepair.com/Porsch...air/index.html
with good success in the past.

+1 for Radioman. He fixed mine. Works great now. A previous owner had hooked up two speakers in parallel to my mono output. Don't do that.
