Pretty sure the lines are not aluminium so anodising won't work.

I had mine just done. Took them to the same place I had
all the other parts of the car gold zinc-ed. They also do/have
silver zinc. Looks just like factory. A nice satin-silver finish.
Front & rear hood latches finished the same way.
My lines got corroded and I asked Mark Jung how they were originally finished. His response was that they used a dull Type 1 silver cadmium plating. I have sent mine to Shaun at Tru6 for refinishing and can post the results when I get them back.
