Auto Foreign at LA Lit meet and Phoenix Club

Well... I hate the show as I haven't had a chance to wander around for the past 5 years (I've been going since 1986) as I'm stuck behind my tables, and it's hell to pack full a long bed truck with parts, BUT, it's good to see friends when I finally get down there after a 20 hour drive from Seattle. The other good part is picking up Gary Emory in Oregon and getting great stories all the way down.

This year we've got a few semi new items for the table, and we'll also be featuring John Audette's headlights as well. I'll also be showing prototypes of my sliders for early bucket and sport seats, and Hella 118 fog and driving lights. I've got more Hella 128 fog lights both in Yellow reflector, and Clear reflector. I found a box of Dansk sized muffler tips, and regular size tips (I'll also have with some "scratch and dent" versions with very slightly imperfect chrome at substantial price reductions). All my other usual items will be brought with (the ones in stock).

We've got a few used rare parts for the table as well including a 1964/65 911 toolkit with only original tools (12mm plug wrench, riveted clasp bag etc), several early toolbags, 1965 911 NOS owners manual, 1967 911S French manual, 1967 911S German manual, and a few other owners manuals mostly NOS, couple of yards of my handwoven Australian merino wool Houndstooth that I found. I'll hopefully scrape together a few more items for the table as well.

Sale items include reproduction headlight glass: 1965-67 clear Hella SB19-20-21 at 2 for $50 (the "big guys" sell these for $125 each), Bosch Euro 4487 in both clear and yellow versions at 2 for $150. A couple of pairs of new repro Cibie hood mount rally lights with covers (sale priced), and I'll have the Cibie covers available separately as well for a "sale" price.

See you at the show... and all items mentioned will only be available at the Lit meet and Phoenix club.

    tks,
    Eric

Hi Eric, I grab the chance by its neck: any news on the early Recaro sliders? I need to give back the set I have borrowed!!

Ahhhh the sixties... I envision myself one early Saturday morning wearing plaid shorts, black shoes with white socks smoking a cigarette heading to the hardware store to buy a bag of nails.
SWB cars are an acquired taste however once acquired theirs no turning back.
