Hi I'm pretty new on the scene and looking for a nice car myself (tips welcome , stumbled upon an ad in the Netherlands (where I'm from) http://www.ferdinandsclassics.nl/auto/porsche-911-s/

Might interest you. I'm not much of a mechanic but if you are, this could be a great project. It's been for sale for quite a while (like most early 911's in Europe, asking prices are above the real market, resulting in no trade and stock just sitting there)

Anywho seller seems like a respectable classic car company, probably US import

    best, David

    Hi David

Welcome in the Porsche-Scene. OK, the market prices for early 911 seems high especially for S-Veron but that was always so in the past. Accept the actual market prices and buy the best 911S you get for the money. Wait for a bargain or speculate for lower prices... and buy probably never. Or wait for lower prices and pay later (much) more.

This 2.2 Version is not the most sought early 911S but if all the works are done by a porsche-specialist in a right/proper way. Any missing parts?

    Best regards

    Rene

    Thanks for your help.

By coincedence I visited this company today. It s a lhd car, car itself is being restored (sheet metal) so I could not check.
The car is from Italy, engine is matching number, gear box not. Engine has been done completely.
Everything else must be there and is in boxes.

Prices might be negotiable but currently on website € 137.500.

Ahhhh the sixties... I envision myself one early Saturday morning wearing plaid shorts, black shoes with white socks smoking a cigarette heading to the hardware store to buy a bag of nails.
SWB cars are an acquired taste however once acquired theirs no turning back.
