    1969 Seat Belt HEEELLLP!!

    Hi guys,
I pulled my seatbelts out of the car ('69 911) and took them apart
to refurbish them, about 6 months ago. I took photos of what they
looked like before dissassembly, but lost the photos. You would think
it would be easy to figure out how they go back together...
But it ISN'T! ;o) Can anybody help me with some nice photos of how
these suckers go back together? A big PRE-thanks to anybody who can
    help me. ;o)

Those are the rear belts. They are pretty simple. The pictures should explain all you need to know.

    Regards

I don't know if these photos are helpful but they are from my original 1969S. They are the rear seat belts. They say "REPA 1968" since the car was built in Jan. 1969. they don't appear to look too much like yours.

How about that little small chrome piece that you see in my photos?
That's one of the problems I was having... like, where does it go?

It slides in the tang and the belt wraps around it. It can be seen in my second picture. The one with the belt opened up.

That goes inside of the male side of the buckle and moves freely back and forth to adjust or hold belt in place with pressure friction. The black plastic piece covers all this up. Hopefully you'll see it in the pictures.Name: IMG_1835.jpg
