Price check: 4.5 Fuchs set of 4

What is the current price for a set of 4 4.5 Fuchs with very very nice original finish?
I looked at a car for someone over the weekend and they are on the car, been sitting since 1985. I did not see any curb rash.
I've had over 20 of these but none in the last two years, looking for recent sales so I can tell the owner what to expect.
I will most likely be selling these as soon as I can establish a realistic price.
    Thanks

    thanks Skip,
IMHO these wheels belong on a preservation car. The original finish on a 4.5 is different than on the later wheels. The factory didn't polish between the paddles as much and left grinding marks that most refinishers polish out. So I'm hoping there is someone with an original car that needs them.
In the last 25 years I've had a lot of these 4.5's and these are the nicest ones I've seen.
I'm hoping the owner will let me sell the car and wheels for her and will clean the wheels for better photos when I get my hands on them.
    Cheers

    Hi Giorgio,
This is the only photo I have at this time. The car had lots of junk around it. I was able to look carefully and did not see any damage on the other wheels.
When I have more photos I will post them.
Based on the feedback I've gotten it looks like the wheels should bring $2000-2100 each.
    Thanks
    Kent

Those don't look like the original finish is in very good condition....Unless they clean up very well.
The condition would dictate the value. Perfect but need refinishing 1750> Some magical cleaning and the finish is preservation quality 2500>
Some where in the middle is some where in the middle.....Not too many people need "almost good enough to be saved" finish
I have seen plenty of the almost good ones.....

Regardless of the price.. If this is the nicest you've seen. You my friend need to get out more.

Wrong caps.. Wrong lug nuts ='s to hard life. Those are pretty rough.

But I must agree, 2000 per wheel for a 4.5 seems right nowadays.

I'm interested in 'perfect' original Fuchs for my '67. I assume because they were only on '67 S's that 'date code' isn't really relevant? I just bought mine from the owner who bought it in 1970. He 'upgraded' to wider versions and said, "I can't remember for the life of me what I did with the originals..."

And at $10,000 for a good original set 'that's crazy'... But I guess that's just 'early 911'...

    Greg
