    Could these be original Sisal floor mats 911 901 551 102 15?

Could these be original Sisal floor mats 901 551 102 15? The owner I bought the '67 911S said they were on it when he bought it in 1970.

    Thanks. Greg

I think the original mats had the third piece covering the tunnel. Not positive though.

There weren't a whole lot of changes between 1966 and 1967 (aside from introducing the 911S). The 1966 accessories brochures list both sisal and "Veluran" floor mats but the only color was black.
    9189 1 Satz Sisal-Fußmatten (Silkos), 2teilig, schwarz 39.50 DM $ 9.90
901.551.102.15 1 set of "Sisal" floor mats in two pieces, black
Paillassons ((Sisal)> en 2 parties, teinte noire
1 serie tappetini Silkos, 2 pezzi, neri
    9198 1 Satz Veluran-Fußmatten mit Tunnelabdeckung, 3 teilig, schwarz 96 DM $ 24.00
901.551.101.15 1 set of "Veluran" floor mats in three pieces, in colour of carpet
Paillassons «Veluran» en trois parties avec recouvrement du tunnel, teinte noire
1 serie tappetini Veluran, 3 pezzi, neri

Here's a picture of the sisal mat from the illustrated brochure:

Those are IMHO aftermarket, but maybe period.

As a rule, Porsche never wanted you step with your heel on their sign/name while driving.
Still today, factory floor mats write Porsche on the side but not on the heel area pad.
Aftermarket often did not follow this ruie.
Also..the Porsche graphic typing is "wrong".

    Here is what 901 551 102 15 looked like:

Since that mentions the 914 it must date from Model Year 1970.

Jim, Yes, its the 1970 dealer version of the 2.2l accessories, I own that item. (Problems to upload so haul did it for me, thx)

As for the item initially asked on post 1, could be Coco mats by "Sportimissimo", sold by Starting Line inc/Saratoga Springs NY.
The company also sold Colgan bra', VDO instruments, amco bars, key fobs and Carello/Hella lights, Drager gauge, luggage/ski racks among other things seen often on early 911's

They sold three typs of coco mats for 911's: targa, SWB and LWB including for 914, all in 5 shades of colors.
I have the 1972 issue of their brochure were Porsche is not written on the heel area of their coco mats but I recall earlier versions did.
