    Mystery caliper

    Can anyone identify these rear break calipers? They were installed in my -65.

    They've got the ribs so If I understand correctly they are the earlier 356 style L caliper.

    They are the correct calipers for your car. Actually, they are 356C rear calipers that were used on the very first 911s.

    PS: The yellow calipers in the box are from a bit later 911 and will interchange with the ribbed ones just fine. They both have exactly the same internals.

    Uglest fingers I have ever seen. Would have prefered mussels. Also ugles callipers I have ever seen.
