    Battery Base

    I purchased the battery base pictured below a few years ago. Noticed recently a number of bases with three holes in them rather than the one as in mine, different years/suppliers? Appreciate if anyone knows why.

    Can anyone shed any light.......appreciate the minute a battery is on top of it such detail is lost but when did that ever stop us!

    i repoped this part years go and noticed the same....the sample parts i had came off the same tool..this i could see from the same imperfections on the parts that came from the vac forming tool...my two cents = early ones had only one hole

    The two 1968 911 that I have access to have just one hole. Both have their original battery tray.
