    "Lakewell" dash pad 69-75

    SOLD

    My pal came from Germany with a Lakewell dash pad new in the box. It's here in LA. It's $1650, delivered within 30 miles of LA.

    As you may know, Lakewell sells "first quality" and also "irregular" dashes, as all are hand made and subject to variation. This is a "first quality" dash.

    I'll take it, as long as its not the one with the "Ghost" shadow where the center vent would be ona SC.

    It is not. those are the 'official' replacement dashes and although the surface grain is a better match, they have both the ghosting you mention and they have an enlarged opening around the speaker grille. The Lakewells are better, but the perf pattern in the speaker grille is not perfectly regular (and the holes are a bit larger than the original). In other words, the Lakewells are the best repro made, but not absolutely perfect.
