    Porsche Phoenix fan belt date

I have a Porsche Phoenix 9.5 X 710 fan belt with date code 3/05. Is this May 1963 or May 1973?

    Thanks.

Im curious if a belt that old would still be good for it's intended purpose or better left in the concours tool kit just for show.
