FS: 67 Recaro GRP Rallye Bucket w Headrest (sometimes referred to as R-Seat)

Seat is not for sale anymore decided to keep it

Perfect is the enemy of good.
I am selling a seat of my collection, that I thought I'd never sell - but I found one that is even better - so this one will have to go.
It's an unrestored untampered 67 Rally bucket with headrest.
It has perforated vinyl and corduroy upholstery.
The corduroy is the best of all seats I have - no tears [edit: one little tear 2 small (3-5mm) discolorations and 3 small corduroy flaws at seat and headrest] and only little sunfading - detail pics see below.
Upholstery is good and foam is still tight.
The foam has two marks where something has been sitting on the seat for a long time todays status is much better compared to that old picture - It recovered from that.
The flaw with the seat is that the otherwise nearly perfect and still soft vinyl hs been restiched by hand at the left seam.
Sliders are the way they should be - only little oxidation of the zinc plating no rust and not bent so they are just perfect.
GRP shell is the same - just the way you want it to be.

It is the left seat in the picture the Recaro showroom base is not included.
I'll add detail pics of the seat tomorrow.

    Decided to Keep it

I have a pair of these in my RGruppe Hot Rod and I love it. Very comfortable even in long drives. GLWS.

IMHO perfect seat and in fantastic original condition, perfect combo of perforated bolsters and the faded corduroy
I have the exact same 67 sport bucket she'll that I am restoring to match this seat.

Given what some sport Ricardo seats are selling for I think this is a bit of a bargain, and probably rarer

    Good luck with the sale
