Challenge removing nut at the top of a Koni strut.

The nut and shaft of the strut insert turn and I'm not sure how to get it loose. Do I need a special tool of some kind?

    Hi Chris,
I bought the Harbor Freight cordless 1/2" 18V cordless impact wrench. Painless to remove tires now!
Usually around $129.99 but there's always a 20% off coupon or sale. I've only had to charge it once after many uses.
Great tool to have if you don't have a compressor to run air tools.

An air impact wrench cost $50 At the Home Depot but you need to have a compressor.

Can't you just use a vise grip to hold the shaft from spinning? Or doesn't an allen key fit into the top of the strut? One of those worked for the konis I took off of my 69.
